The first thing that you will need for camping is a tent, or some sort of shelter in which to stay dry. Dealing with the elements will not be a problem with shelter from a tent or other shelter. The conditions in the camping world can range from bright and sunny to torrential downpours in a matter of minutes! The inside of a tent can shield you from the sun in very hot weather. In keeping dry during rainstorms, a sturdy rain fly over the roof of your tent can go a long way. It is also a good idea to spread a tarp beneath the tent to keep water from seeping in.
