My little forum on mobile workforce

Doesn't it make perfect sense for companies to switch over from LAN to cloud based IT services, with so many of their workers connecting to their networks from remote locations? Mobility as a service manages, supports, directs and protects remote workers, the network and its data from contamination and attack from outside sources by alerting a company's IT department to those endpoint units that are not in compliance with the latest security protocol or protected by the company firewall. Mobility as a service also enables that same IT department to download the latest security patches to its endpoints long distance. Mobility as a service may first and foremost be considered an ideal management solution for an IT department, but it can also be invaluable technology for employees wishing to achieve a better work life balance by allowing them to work from home when their children are sick or when they themselves are too sick to come in to the office. With mobility as a service, workers can also put all those hours spent in airports to good use. Mobility as a service acknowledges the reality that people are no longer confined to their offices.
